Phil Steinschneider comes through like gangbusters once again. Phil is one of the most dedicated
Blade Runner fans I have ever known, and he's also one hell of a researcher. This glass is seen in
the movie when Deckard is using the esper machine and getting plowed. (Not a bad way to spend a Friday
night, if you ask me)
The glass is pretty well documented in the film, but no one ever had any idea if it was made for the
movie, or a found item. I beleive the frenzy surrounding the Blade Runner Shot Glass lead Phil to
do some digging on this glass. I don't know the whole story behind this, but I do know that SOMEHOW
Phil found the dude or company that makes these glasses. They are in Italy. The glasses cost abou 50
bucks each, which is a high price for ANY glass. Weirdly enough, they are SUPERB quality glasses. I would
actually like to own a set of four, as they are so nice and classy. I'm really impressed with the
quality, and I don't know jack squat about glassware.
Thanks again to Phil for digging up such a neato found prop.
