This is another oddball little miniature that was made for the production of the movie. It's most noteable feature is the fact that it resembles some model of VolksWagon, hence my naming it the "bug" car. This is one of the smaller scale miniatures, the same size as my roadster and mini-taxi.

I am still unsure what role this size of car played in the movie. For all I know, it was only used for mock ups, or pre-viz work. I hope to learn more about it someday.

The most interesting thing about this car and a couple others like it is the fact that it is built upon a pre-existing car. Maybe a matchbox car, or something a bit bigger. It appears that they took a regular car, and just added on some details to make it look more futuristic. They cover the wheel wells, add on a trippy windshield, and round out a few details. Other than that, you can clearly see a "normal" car peeking out from below all of the add ons.

This car has no undercarriage.
