The particularly cool thing about this car is that it came with an undercarriage. And what a weird piece it is. Too cool! Lots of really wild detailing. I wound up with two copies of the chassis, and one undercarriage. I matched the undercarriage to this chassis based on a number of details that were captured in both halves of the car.
I really don't know what kind of car this is supposed to be, but it is entirely hand sculpted, just like the roadster. It does not use a car kit as it's base, like other cars on my website.
This is another oddball little miniature that was made for the production of the movie. This is one of the smaller scale miniatures, the same size as my roadster and mini-taxi.
I am still unsure what role this size of car played in the movie. For all I know, it was only used for mock ups, or pre-viz work. I hope to learn more about it someday.
