Time Spent:    None. I acquired this from a private collector.

This is another oddball miniature used in the Fifth Element. Obviously, it's a convertible. The detail on this piece is not very complex, though it is the first car in my collection to feature an interior. Not a whole lot to tell about this car, other than the fact that it's not one of the "Standard" cars that got a lot of screen time in the movie. If you watch the movie, you'll see that some cars get more screen time than others. Heck, if you counted the number of Honda Civics on the road, and then tried to approximate the saturation of an analogously popular car of the future, I guess it only makes sense that some cars show up more often than others. Oh well.

This car has no undercarriage.

This miniature is in the same scale as the "large" taxi and the cars that are featured in my "reconstruction" project. I may one day attempt to clean this car up and add an undercarriage to it.
