There's a bit of a scandal involved with this prop, though it's not worth telling. Let's just say that being nice pays off, time and time again. Don't let the naysayers convince you otherwise.
This car is hollow cast, and has no undercarriage. I'm not sure what to do with it at this point. Like so many other FE cars, it looks like they started with an off the shelf model kit and built up detail pieces on top of it. If you look at the seam where the canopy dome meets the body, you can see window detailing underneath it. Pretty cool.
