As with so many other pieces out there, I'm not 100% sure of the history of this piece. It was originally acquired from the Propstore of London, which is a fantastic outfit. They were offering them for a time, and may still be. I acquired this in trade from someone who got it from Propstore. They have a great reputation, are fun to deal with, and have never done me wrong.
Here's my belief. Someone got ahold of either a mold from production, a production used casting, or a made for production casting. Something like that. They then produced built up and painted pieces for propstore. So while I don't think this was painted for production, it still has a strong production-related lineage. Which is pretty good for me.
The piece is cast in fiberglass, and has very detailed plastic eyes.
