Well folks, this is the real deal. This is my first screen used prop from one of my all time
favorite movies. I purchased this online recently, and I love it.
The prop itself appears to be laser printed onto some kind of faux marble finish paper. The detail
is very crisp, and I'm very impressed with the amount of attention to detail that went into
the design of the prop.
However, the presentation of the prop leaves something to be desired. I'm a big believer in letting
the prop speak for itself, and if the prop does NOT speak for itself, then *I* want to be the
person telling the story!!! The frame that accompanies the prop will probably be done away with
eventually, but for now, it serves it's purpose.
I will not be posting any detailed pictures of the certificate, as I do not want it copied. I may
eventually replicate it and sell to friends, but I have no plans for this immediately.
Until then, it's a great piece. The Fifth Element is a VERY difficult movie to collect for, as there
are not a lot of pieces available. Though the movie did well in Europe, the American collectors
market for Fifth Element items never quite took off.
