Though I'm not 100% sure of the origin of this die-cast taxi cab, I believe it to be a promotional item that was given out to guests of one of the premiers of the movie in France, possibly the Cannes Film Festival. This is not really a prop, not really a miniature, and skirts dangerously close to the realm of "Collectible". While I try to focus my collection on props, miniatures, and other "behind the scenes" materiel, I could not pass up the opportunity to get my clammy hams on this beauty. While quite rare in America, they appear to be a bit more plentiful in France. I got this one from a friend living over there. It's in great shape, and is quite weird.
