Fifth Element MultiPass Tutorial

In this step, I attach the battery case to the body. The battery case was assembled in an early step in the tutorial.

As mentioned elsewhere, the pass is designed to hold electronics, though this tutorial does not cover this. If one was going to add in electronics, they may wish to attach the battery case with some small screws instead of glue.

Dig up your battery case, and get ready to attach it to the body.

This picture illustrates which side is smooth. I've marked the front or "face" of my styrene with sharpie, and here I show how it's going to fit onto the body. Though it's going on the back of the body, it's smooth side is up.

Apply plastruct cement to the thin washer OR to the body, then slide the battery case into place. Hold the battery case firmly in place until the cement sets. You can use clothes pins for this if you are impatient.
Once the glue has set, I dropped some extra glue into the battery case along the edges to help it seal up. I am unsure if this made any difference, but it made me feel good... and that's what's important!!
