The director pretty much gave me free reighn in designing these pieces, so I thought I would have a little fun with them. Ted (the director) had worked on the Fifth Element in the model making department, and had allowed me access to some of his leftover parts. One of the pieces he worked on in the movie was Korben Dallas's appartment building. He had little laser cut pieces of styrene which were used to build up the exterior. I made a mold of one of them, then poured a couple up.
As an homage to the great work that the folks at HMS do, I backed the Fifth Element building molds with a piece of ribbed styrene that is often found on all manner of alien weapons seen on the various Star Trek shows.
The graphics for the disks were made by me on my computer.
