This is the piece from the opening sequence of Raiders. Aside from the Ark, this is THE piece to get from Raiders. I really love it. It is very recognizable, and looks way cool on my shelf. I got ahold of a resin copy of the idol, and cleaned it up myself. There are a lot of idols floating around out there that each person swears is a casting off the original. Is this one the real deal? I can't say for sure, but I can tell you that it's WAY cool. The most expensive part of this was the plating. I got it plated at Art Craft, and I think it was just under 100 bucks. They did a bang up job. There are only a few flaws here and there, though they are very forgivable. Unlike the tea pot that was on e-bay, you can NOT look in the reflections of the idol and see me naked as I took the pictures. So there.
