As seen in Raiders of the Lost Ark

This is one of my favorite pieces in my collection. It's an all metal headpiece. I beleive this was made by a company that goes by the name Acme Magic on e-bay. They only sell these through e-bay, and they often fetch upwards of 600 dollars. I was lucky enough to acquire this from a fellow collector at a good price and for some trade. This is a super high quality piece. The sculpt is very nice, though not 100% accurate. The real one tends to balloon up a bit more in the middle. However, if you compare this to the pictures of the one in the archives book, it comes pretty close. You'd have to be a pretty sharp customer to be able to pick out the differences. That aside, what makes this piece so great is the feel of it. It FEELS like it's the real deal. It's nice and heavy and cold. There is no seam line around the edge, or anywhere else for that matter. The jewel in the center is a solid piece of crystal. From the auction description, I beleive it's from Austria. Who knows, maybe they make better crystals there??
