As seen in Moonraker

I purchased this from S.D. Studios, the company that was licensed to produce Bond prop replicas.

I think this is a really fantastic piece. This is a replica of the dart gun that James uses in moonraker. Not only does he kill the baddie with it, but he also saves his own bacon by disabling a cetrifuge. Not bad, Mr. Bond. The watch is all made out of machined aluminum parts. From the information sheet that came with the prop, exact measurements were made of the real prop before creating this one. The wrist band on the real prop was a found item, though I guess SDS could not round up the exact band, so they found one that was close. In the film, Jimmy B was given 10 darts. 5 were armor piercing, 5 were cyanide tipped. They were delived to Bond in a cassette case. the darts themselves were the shafts from throwing darts. You know, from the game with the dart board? Clever, eh? From what I understand, Steve used the same darts to make these ones. The only difference was the little colored rings around them I am really happy with this prop. I consider it a really high quality piece. This is one of those props that I always wanted as a kid. Now that I'm all grown up, I am very glad that there are/were companies like SDStudios around to make this stuff.
