These cards are neat little “fantasy” props that were made by a creative friend of mine. While they were not actually used or seen in the episode, they were “inspired by” the episode. The maker imagined that the characters might be issued cards like these while spending time in twentieth century San Francisco. There are two cards, one for Sisko and one for Bashir. The cards feature the characters names as they appeared in the episode, and a logo swiped from one of the trek art books. The cards are laminated with a faux “smart chip” on the back side. From what I am told, these cards were prototypes that have since been improved upon. I’m proud to say that some of the suggestions I made were incorporated into the final design.
