This is a "hyper-firm" rubber costume piece that was part of a Jem H'Dar uniform. I believe these went on the shoulder. This is probably one of the more obscure trek pieces in my collection, but I'm a sucker for that type of stuff. This particular piece was not screen used, but was made by the same folks that make the stuff for the show. So it's not fan made, not made for production, and not screen used. It's somewhere in between made for production and screen used. I guess. I dunno. Either way, it's one of two rubber Jem H'Dar pieces that I'm adding to the website today, so I may as well put a link to the other piece on this page. Here it is now. Now that I think about it, I also have a belt buckle from the same uniform.
