I acquired this kit as part of a larger purchase, and it turned out to be a really nice bonus. This is a very nice casting of the early model Mark VI tricorder that was used in Trek. I believe that Prop'er Effects made the master for this style of tricorder, but I cannot confirm this. Because this style of tricorder is fairly rare, I think I may not build this kit up, but just leave it as it is.
