I'm not entirely sure what this piece is, but there are two things I know for certain. First is that this piece was made for production. Second, it's shaped like a Voyager communicator. Though this piece was painted by a friend of mine, it was made by the same shop that makes the stuff for production. It's about the size of a quarter. I don't have any information about it other than that. I don't know what episode(s) it was used in, if any. For all I know, it was a prototype for an action figure stand or something like that. Might have been a button on a fruit bowl. Might have been a belly ring for a holodeck scene. Could be anything.
