Just a very quick little painting session today. Not much time, as I'm skippin' out for a bit, but I wanted to do something productive on my last day here.

So today, in between packing my suitcase, I jumped out and spent one of those little jars of paint on the skirt and the ankle. As always, they turned out simply stunning. Here's the skirt.

And here's the ankle.

Though I did this all in one "attack", there's probably about 2.5 coats of paint on each piece. I was jumping back and forth between the two, giving the paint enough time to dry good enough to accept a top coat. So I'm actually thinking that these two pieces are finished, aside from the clear coat. So yeah, I'm pretty happy. Getting A LOT done on the paint, and in good time. Granted, it's not like I sit down and spend a whole day and just get everything painted, but I've got a lot of other stuff going on right now, so I'll take any progress I can get.

In other, non related news, I wanted to put in a plug for a great new album I picked up. It's by an artist named "KT Tunstall", and it's called "Eye To The Telescope". There's two songs on it that have gotten heavy radio play, but aside from those catchy tunes, I consider it to be a really nice little album. Not over-produced, just simple rocky songs with cool lyrics. Google it and check it out. I'd put a link here, but I don't want readers to think I'm an Amazon affiliate or something. That stuff makes me mental!
