Another day spent on odds and ends, heading towards painting.
This is the final step on the action item that I started yesterday, filling the holes that I created a while back to solve my foot flip problem. The maxim glue provides really excellent hold, but there were a few bubbles. So I used my evercoat putty to fill them in, and then sanded them smooth. They turned out great.
Here's a close up of the foot.
Painting continues. I've gotten another nice coat of white primer on both of the legs. They were all cleaned up and prepped yesterday. I taped over any of the screw holes, as I don't want any kind of paint to get in there to gum up the threads. ALL of the screw holes will be hidden under some other part, so I didn't really feel a need to be economical or careful when applying the masking tape. I'll hit the legs with another coat of primer before the sun goes down, and that will be it for today.
Though not pictured, I also managed to primer the center ankle and center foot.
