Deja Vu, Man! Seems like I was just passing through here yesterday, on my monumental drive across the country.

Now I'm back in Kansas City, but this time to stay. Well, for a few days at least. I came to Kansas City for a couple of meetings, and it was a great time. The city was going through a heat wave at the time, so it was a bit warm. Fortunately, the hotel came equipped with air conditioning, so it all turned out OK.

Here's a shot of the office building at which I was working. It's the brown one down at the end. Super nice place. A very neato restored building. It was the first 'sky scraper' in Kansas City.

Here's something you don't see every day in California. Tornado shelters at the airport. Crazy stuff.

Speaking of crazy stuff, this is some art work that was just a block away from my hotel. It's some sort of giant bronze sculpture, with a big plasma tv behind it showing a CGI animation of the sculpture in action.

The hotel! Looks like it was a Marriot property. Decent enough. Good gym.
