Bill Fischer and I still occasionally get the itch. The itch to rock and roll, that is! I don't know what prompted it, but he and I decided it was time to record another song. Good news is that Bill's garage is all set up to record, so it didn't take much time for us to crank out our take on the song "Carol", as famously performed by The Rolling Stones.

Natch, it was Matt Munson on vocals. I think Bill sang back up, but who really cares. Everyone knows it's all about the lead singer. And besides, it's my website. If you want a more factual account of the days events, head on over to the seldom updated www.classic-stickmen.com.

Who needs Robert Trujillo when you've Bill Fischer behind the console! Granted, a PC isn't quite the same as a 64 track analog recording studio, but it sure does take up less space.

Guitar chores were taken care of by Bill, in between knob turning fits. He also did bass guitar.

Which left the drumming chores to me. Granted, I don't have any drum sticks in this photo, and yes, that's a lampshade on the cymbol stand. But who's counting?? Matching sweat pants and t-shirt are now the official uniform of Black and Blue, mind you.
