These are some pictures from a nice day hike I did in El Moro Canyon, just inland of Newport Beach. It's a really nice wildlife preserve kind of national park thing. While the hikes aren't particularly daunting, they do give some awesome views, and tend to be a good workout.

This is a good example of the type of "Trails" you are walking on. More like dirt roads, which is what they also are, I suppose.

A good view of some of the ritzy neighborhoods down in Newport. I'm actually pretty close to Laguna Beach at this point. Wait, I take it back. That IS Laguna Beach.

Ok, THIS is the ritzy neighborhood of Newport. Forget that Laguna Beach stuff. You are looking at the only private beach in SoCal.
