To be precise, this is Newpor Back Bay, the part that moves water inland out to the ocean. It is a wildlife preserve, and is a spectacular place to go for a bike ride or a walk. It's not really a "hiking place" per se, as there are no trails, and only a paved road. I take it back, there are some trails, but they lead away from the water, and I prefer to walk along it. I did a lot of my triathlon training down here. This was usually the end point for me, and I would turn around from here. Great ride! There's always some really beautiful things to see when you come down here.

Sunset from inside the backbay.

This is a view from atop one of the bluffs.

A pretty typical shot of the types of marshes you tend to find spotting the back bay.

And just before you hit the ocean proper, there's a marina filled with all kinds of booze-cruisers.
