Gracciano is not a particularly spectacular place, but it is a place I pass through regularly. It is a small town in between Pieve and Colle Val D'Elsa. Anytime I head into Colle, I pass through Gracciano. This trip, I spent more time here than usual, as it was part of the trail I was following to get to San Gimignano.

These are the Roman Baths just outside of town. I find these to be fascinating. Freaks me out that these were built 2000 years ago, and are still in use by the locals today. Granted, they don't go dunking in that algea infested little hot-tub looking thing, but they do use the larger part as a swimming pool. Just stunning that this location is so old. It always makes me wonder what the place would have looked like when it was originally built.

This the main street running through the center of town.

The Via Francigena is the famous pilgrimage from Canterbury to Rome. It passes right through the center of Gracciano.

Glad to see the Octo-Mom is famous even in Italy. Though over here, they call her "Supermamma di otto".

A neat little picture of someones back yard. I felt kind of intrusive taking it, but it was just such a cool setup!
