I think this is about my fourth of fifth trip to Washington, and it turns out that each trip is more fun than the last. I was up here for a couple of days of business, but stuck around for the weekend to hang out with friends. Huge thanks to everyone who participated in making this a very memorable and exiciting trip! Since I had some friends to hang out with this time, I decided to go heavy on the self portraits. This means I actually appear in a couple of the pictures this time!

I think this was called Alki Beach, or something like it. You can see downtown Seattle across the water. And yes, that's me on the left. That's my Ohio jacket, which all of the folks in Washington seemed to think was overkill. Yet, I was still freezing.

Speaking of freezing, here I am again. This is on some dudes driveway. They just happened to have a really nice view, so I stopped for a photo.

Now I'm back on the other side of the water, overlooking downtown. What can I say, I am a fan of that downtown area. I've spent many an afternoon roaming around taking photos. If not for the cold, I would consider Seattle beautiful enough to move to.

A bit of an inside joke on this one, which is better left to be told in person. However, I will point out that this was at the Hyatt where I attended an IBM conference that was REALLY productive. Probably the best one day event I've ever been to.

Bridge Troll!!! Another great benefit of having friends who live in the city. I guess this is something of a tourist attraction, which is totally cool. I guess you're supposed to get a picture of yourself picking the poor guys nose, but that seemed so disrespectful... to the troll.
