On this trip to New York, I made it my mission to track down a number of filming locations from the HBO show "Flight of The Conchords". It's a really wonderful show about two musicians from New Zealand who come to America with the hopes of making it big. I was introduced to this show on one of my early trips to Columbus by a friend in the leasing office at my apartment complex! When I finally got around to watching the show, I fell madly in love with it. Thanks for the tip!

This is the building that served as the exterior to Brett and Jemaine's apartment. It's in the middle of China Town. Heck, all of the photos in this album are from China Town, and are in fact are all taken within a few blocks of each other.

This served as the New Zealand Consulate building, where their manager Murray worked.

This, of course, is Dave's pawn shop. It looks IDENTICAL to how it appeared in the show. They pretty much just set up a camera and started filming.

This is just a random "flavor" shot of downtown. I think this was actuall on the same corner as the photo of Dave's shop.
