June, 2010

I went out to Seattle for a few days to attend an ECM conference, which is always a great opportunity to learn about upcoming offerings, and to see old friends. I ended up staying an extra day to check the place out, which is always a treat. I've documented Seattle on this page and others over the years pretty well, so I'll skip some of the more traditional photos, and go straight into the minutia.

No trip would be complete without a visit to the space needle. And yes, I went to the top. Again. I can't help it. I actually only came to this thing so I could hit the Sci-Fi museum.

I stayed at the W hotel downtown, which was immensely nice.

Here's my room! They were even kind enough to give me the room that matched my birthday. Not sure if it was intentional, but it was cool.

When I grow up, I want a bathroom that looks like this.

A very typical street corner in downtown Seattle.

The entrance to the Sci-Fi museum. I have TONS of pictures from this place, many of which are on my facebook page. Look me up if you want to see them.
