As far as I can tell, Brussles is famous for two things; its waffles (you know, like as in "Belgian waffles"???) and some statue of a little kid taking a piss. Go figure!

This was the first trip I took for the company I used to work for. The key mistake I made on this trip was not bringing a proper winter jacket. I knew it was going to be winter, but I didn't think they meant that it would be WINTER. Things are different in countries other than California. Yes, you read that right, and no, I'm not an idiot.

A classy self portrait of me, taken in the park just outside the royal palace. I had just shaved my head in order to save a few bucks on a haircut. Too bad I didn't use those saved dollars on a hat. It might have saved me from freezing my brains out. And yes, I do have more than one brain, hence the plural.

Speaking of royal palaces, here it is.

Here's the main door to the hotel I was staying at. After staying at this hotel, I never again booked myself into a hotel that listed "old world charm" as one of its selling points.

Just some kooky obelisk in the middle of the city. Don't really know why I took this picture, other than the fact that I think it's funny that a number of european countries seem to worship the phallus. Hey, more power to them.

This is just some random street corner in Belgium. Nothing really significant about it, other than I think it's some cool architecture.

I think this picture is roughly of the office where I was working when I was in Brussles. Did I mention that it was really cold??

I entered Europe through Holland. This is a keen little aerial photo of some town or something in Holland. I don't really know what town it is, but at the time, I was just happy to be back in Europe, so I snapped a photo.
