This tiny little ski-town looking village in the south of France was the last place I stayed on my six week adventure. This place is just under three kilometers above the Spanish/French border on the west coast. Just south of Biarriz, the airport I ended up flying out of.
A very funny little town this. It was entirely off one main street, and there were only three hotels in the entire town. I stayed in what must have been the worst of the three, but it sure as hell was an adventure. There was a market on the day I arrived, in the town square. But unlike a number of european markets I've run into lately, this one was more of a flea market. Just people selling their old crap, like a giant garage sale. Now, on its own, there's really nothing wrong with this. What was nuts was the fact that the entire town, and people from EVERY surrounding town came out for the garage sale. Now that's interesting!!!
