I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Now THIS is what I'm talking about!

This is an ultra cool little castle town that is build into the side of a hill. Very story book, very fairy tale, this place is just plain old cool. I spent the night in a Best Western on the first level of the town, and it was great. I even took a bath! This was after 2 days of non stop hiking. I think I did something like 50 miles in two days... without a shower! NASTY! So it was really quite nice to just kick back in the tub and eat gummi smurfs.

Here's the view from the woods as I approached. Just a beautiful little place.

This is the first of three levels within the city. The lower level is the city level, the middle level is the church level, and on top is the protective chateau.

This picture was taken from inside of one of the churches on the second level. It looks out onto the river valley below.
