Sarlat is a town just a few minutes south of the caves at Lascaux, and is quite beautiful. I ended up spending a couple of days there, mainly spending my time just wandering around the Centre Ville, which is distinctively medieval. Great looking little city, with all of the amenities, including an internet cafe! And thank god too!

The center of the center of town, market in full swing. And this was a proper market too. Produce, local foods and wines, all kinds of good stuff.

A particularly interesting corner of the town that I believe exemplifies the type of architecture found in the area.

This part of France is really quite famous for its fine foods, one of which is Foie Gras. Yup, goose liver! They love it! Huge chunks of the economy are based on it, so they may as well devote a statue or two to it.

Just another particularly cute corner of the town.
