This was a one day business trip that took a REALLY long time. I had a meeting with some good folks in the city of Horncastle in northern England. It took a three hour train ride and a one hour bus ride to get to the office.

But it was worth it! Great bunch of peole, and the two hours I spent there were worth all of the trouble.

The true bummer came when I was on my way back. I did some bus mix ups, and ended up going in the wrong direction! Took me three hours to get back to the train station, at which time my train had left. I had to get on another train, which ended up costing me an extra forty pounds. So it was was about 300 dollars in train fare! Love the british rail!!!

Here's the office building where I paid my visit. Great stuff.

And this is the bus of terror that I mentioned above. Three hours on this beast! Still, lots of good views. I had the back row all to myself, and managed to get some sleep.

Downtown Horncastle. Nice little British town.

Town center? I dunno, but it looked cool, so I snapped a pic.
