This was a day trip from Reston, when I paid a visit to a pal and fellow collector Brandon A. Brandon is a good guy with an amazing room full of killer stuff. Truly stunning stuff. Nuts stuff. He's also got an armload of great stories of acquisition and exploration, and is just a fun guy to hang out with. We even went to Fuddruckers, which was another much needed break from all the fine wine and foie gras I'd been eating over the past two months.
The pictures included here are of the neighborhood Brandon lives in. None are of his house, but it just kind of gives a flavor for the area. A friend of mine from Australia refers to these houses as "McMansions". Still, I'll take one any day!

A typical house for the area. Probably fifty or sixty bedrooms each. |

Here's a neighborhood street, where you can see a whole line of houses just like the one pictured here. Too funny. |
