During my previous visits to Siena, I always ended up saying to myself "Self, someday, I really want to live here".

As Matt Munson, it's my job to make my dreams come true, so here I am, living in Siena! I've rented a really neat little flat (or appartment, if you're in America) that is just a few minutes away from the Piaza Del Campo. I am inside the city walls, which makes it just about the coolest place on earth to be.

The big bell tower at the base of the Piaza Del Campo. I have climbed that tower in the past, but not yet on this visit. Maybe soon.

A view of the Duomo ( in the background ) and perhaps the bascilica in the foreground? I don't know. So many churches, so hard to remember them all.

This is the street I live on. In fact, I took this picture from my front doorway.

The Duomo itself. The front of it is being restored, so it's all covered up. Fortunately, I saw it in its unmolested state a few years ago.

Self portrait, but not a very good one. This is at the top of an outcropping above the Opera Museum, just next to the Duomo.

And from the same outcropping, here's a great view of the Piaza. Too cool.
